County Junior Organiser

Sense of fun?  Good communicator?  Organised?  If you are, then you are just the sort of person who could be the County’s next junior organiser.  We are looking for someone – or two friends – who wants to encourage young female golfers in Berkshire and help them get the best start in the game by providing an environment where they can develop their skills and encouraging them to progress to whatever level they aspire.

If you want to find out more do contact the county president, Margaret Berriman, using the form below.

Venue organiser

This is the ideal role for someone who wants to dip her toe into the waters of County volunteering.  Because most of the work takes place in January and February it doesn’t impact on your own golf.  If you’re chatty and not afraid of picking up a phone this is for you!  The bonus is you get to meet and know the various club managers and, through them, the clubs around the county.

If you want to find out more do contact one of the competition secretaries: Deirdre Cuthbert or Maria Thorpe using the form below.

Ish, our treasured treasurer is about to complete her three-year term.  We are now looking for volunteer to take on the role and join the county executive.  Most of the job can be undertaken ‘after dark’ – so it need not impinge on the recruit’s golfing time!

If you have experience keeping small club accounts or as a bookkeeper, accounting technician or accountant and would like to give something back to golf, do get in touch with either Margaret, county president, or Sheila, county secretary using the form below.
