Team Competition Report 2022

Held at Mill Ride Golf Club

Saturday 10th September 2022

It has been a very sad couple of days, following the death of Her Majesty the Queen, on Thursday 8th September, and our thoughts are very much of her and for all her family at this time.

With these thoughts strongly in mind, it was decided to still run the Team Competition on Saturday at Mill Ride Golf Club.

18 teams took part in the event, made up of players from the different handicap groups and played of full handicap, making it a very relaxed event! Having boosted their energy with a brunch before play, they had fair weather for their afternoons golf.

All the ladies remarked on how lovely the course was – as well as tricky! And came in to a well deserved tea and scones!

We had some close scores, and the results are as follows:

1st Place: Michelle James, Karen Hampton, and Sue Middlemist, from Sonning Golf Club

With 77 Points.

2nd Place: Pamela King from Easthampstead Ladies Golf Club, Pauline Cameron & Anne Smith from East Berkshire Golf Club.

With 76 points

3rd Place:  Denice Lowen, Suzanne Richards and Dawn Ledgard from Easthampstead Ladies Golf Club.

Ocb. With 75 points
