On a gloriously sunny and reasonably warm day, 38 ladies took part in the Spring Meeting at Goring & Streatley GC. Unfortunately, the 2nd Hole was out of play due to work being recently completed and not ready for use yet, so a 17 Hole comeptition was held. It meant a long up hill walk between 1st and 3rd! But the sun was shinning and as always, the views were wonderful to look at.
This is the first event we started to celebrate our Centenary and the winners of the scratch and nett received the first momento – engraved glasses.
Many thanks must go to the staff for making us feel so welcome. The competition was followed by a delicious meal, which was enjoyed by all.

*As this competition was played over 17 holes, a nett par score was awarded to all competitors on hole 2 which meant you either scored 4 or 5, depending on your handicap stroke index.
