On the wettest day of the summer – Tuesday 8th August, the team of Donna Hunt, Bella Kent, Chloe Walkington, Debbie Ranwell, Jules Tarr and Holly Lund travelled to Edgbaston Golf Club in central Birmingham for the 3rd/4th play off in the Second Team Midland South Finals.
The team performed well, and we came away as 5-1 victors against Worcestershire & Herefordshire.
I took great pleasure in presenting Bella & Chloe with their second team colours, they are the first of the team to achieve the six points needed .
We also took the opportunity to present Bella with a small gift before she leaves for the US. We wish you well Bella x
This brings to a close this season for the second team. Thank you to everyone who has taken part in league, friendly matches and squad get togethers. I shall be standing down at the AGM, and wish Emily Savage well for the next year.
