Thirty-seven ladies took part in the county’s centenary year Senior’s Championships held at East Berkshire Golf Club.
Temperatures were in the mid-20s making it a perfect golfing day with light winds and no rain.
Our thanks go to Alison the club manager, her staff and to the Lady Captain Glen whose husband George and starter Barry helped the day run smoothly.
Jane Sly Senior’s Captain presented the prizes to the winners and led a rousing Happy Birthday chorus for Cathy Jones.
Sheree Dove-Wilde and Julie Butt both went out in 36 on the front 9. Sheree then eagled the 10th while Julie broke 80 for the first time in a round which included three birdies.
