BLCGS v Berkshire Vets Match Report
Our summer matches continued with a match played at Royal Ascot Golf Club against the BCLVGA (Vets). It can be quite confusing as many ladies belong to both BLCGS and BCLVGA and play for both teams during the summer.
The fairways of the course, like many local courses were very dry and the balls ran a long way not necessarily in the right direction. It was another very warm day and some ladies took to buggies for the back 9. We were all pleased to return to the clubhouse to cool off and enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.
Thank you to the BLCGS team and we were honours even with the result being a draw.
