Report for the Tegner Trophy and Tournament Cup
Held at Goring & Streatley Golf Club on Friday 15th October 2021
This year the Tegner Trophy was rescheduled from April to October because of Covid, and was a one day 36 hole event, without the Championship qualifier.
We were very lucky to have a mild day with no wind to play Goring and Streatley. An early start for all the players clearly agreed with them all, as it was a day of camaraderie and obvious enjoyment by everyone!
The staff at Goring and Streatley were extremely helpful in the organisation and running, and many thanks go to them for their cooperation. I’m sure that the players were extremely happy to see that Gill Athey the G&S ladies captain had organised ball spotters on the 14th and 17th!
As always there were some very good scores, and the results were well deserved. Thank you to our County Captain, Laura for presenting the prizes.
