Berkshire’s Sheree Dove-Wilde is Midlands South Champion (bringing it home to Berkshire for the 3rd year running)
Many congratulations to Sheree (Mill Ride and Camberley Heath) for winning this prestigious trophy. Presented in memory of Florence Rainsworth in 1930 the trophy is for the best scratch strokeplay score over 18 holes.
She follows other Berkshire Senior players Laura Webb (‘20) and Tracy Crew (‘22) as the winner and played a very steady round at North Oxford Golf Course which is a tight parkland course with good greens and some rather tricky bunkers.
Congratulations also to Lucy Dunn-Sims (Castle Royle) who came 3rd nett in the same competition.
