Welcome to BCLVGA (Vets)

February 2023

Thank you so much to the ladies who attended the AGM of the BCLVGA last week at Hennerton Golf Club, when I took over this year’s captaincy of the Association.  I’d also like to welcome all the new members to the Association and hope that they enjoy the experience.

We’ve arranged our usual events this year together with some excellent venues for you to try out.  The Spring Meeting will be held at Temple Golf Club, the First Summer Meeting at The Downshire, Second Summer Meeting at Maidenhead, and the Autumn Meeting at Hennerton.

We have three home Matches this year against Hampshire, Oxfordshire, and the Reading & District men, and 2 away matches against Wiltshire at Broome Manor and The Berkshire Lady Captains at Winter Hill.  Thank you to all the ladies who’ve applied to play in these matches and let’s hope we have some fine weather and good results.

We also hold a singles knock-out competition for the Gittins Trophy which runs throughout the season.
