Dear Members
Well, what a very strange year 2020 has been for all of us. Lockdowns, golf course closures and very limited social gatherings, but let us hope that 2021 will bring us together again.
Looking forwards to 2021; there will be no AGM as the Committee will remain the same with everyone carrying on in the same roles as 2020. Denise Cutler, the Captain elect has kindly offered to postpone her year to allow me to continue as your Captain for next year’s events.
We are endeavouring to play all our planned golf events next year albeit socialising afterwards may be restricted unless the government amend their guidelines. Let us hope that the vaccine will permit us a more normal level of freedom.
So that everyone gets their members packs, just in case of a post-Christmas lockdown, we are sending these out in the mail, and they should be with you early in January.
For those of you who paid your subscriptions this year, these will be carried forwards for 2021, otherwise subscription and also future event payments should be by BACS if at all possible please.
I and the Committee wish you all a Healthy and Happy Christmas and Best Wishes for the New Year and look forward to seeing you in 2021.
