Held at Castle Royle Golf Club on 14th September 2023

BCLGA’s thanks go to Castle Royle Golf Club for hosting the 1st Division Autumn meeting.

We had the most fantastic day weatherwise which contributed to the reports of a great course in lovely condition – although we know, there were a few problems with the bunkers!

Very many thanks go to the ALL the staff who made the day so enjoyable for everyone – Debbie Corless –Castle Royle ladies captain was the starter for the day, and made everyone aware of the ups and downs that could be encountered! Thank you Debbie for your help, and for being with us for the day!

All the catering and bar staff made sure that all players were ‘fed and watered’ and many thanks go to all of them for their efficiency and giving us a very nice light lunch after play.

For the organisation of the day, I would like to thank Paul Dyer – golf management, and Aaron – catering for helping to make this a very successful day.
