Ann Bryant Cup
This is a Trophy played for by entering the 2nd Division Spring Meeting (27th April at Maidenhead Golf Club), handicaps index 20.1-28.
The lowest 16 Gross Scores qualify to play in a singles scratch knockout throughout the summer.
The Draw is made following the Spring Meeting.
Entry is free. NB: if green fees are involved these are to be shared as per the rules. Matches must be played on Berkshire Courses
There are Winner and Runners Up Trophies.
The 2023 Final
The Final of the Ann Bryant Trophy was played on 10th September 2023 at Castle Royle Golf Club. It was an incredibly close match which could have gone either way.
Carol Smith from Bradfield College was the winner, with Celia Gibson from Maidenhead a worthy runner up.
Congratulations to both Carol and Celia for playing their way through 3 earlier rounds to get to the final.
Also many thanks to Fran Campbell for being the Referee and Castle Royle for hosting the match.

2022 Final
The 2022 Final
The final was played on 21st September 2022 in beautiful conditions at Castle Royle Golf Club.
Amanda Shevills and Louise Brook (both from Maidenhead Golf Club) battled out the match until when on the 20th hole Amanda sunk a beautiful putt for par and to claim the match.
The match was played in great spirit with good golf.
Congratulations to both players for making it all the way through the Knockout Rounds.
A special thanks to our President Airlie Dyson for attending the match and to Castle Royle Golf Club for so generously hosting for us.

2021 Final
The 2021 Final
Saturday 16th October at Maidenhead Golf Club saw the Ann Bryant Final played between Pauline Valsler of Sonning GC and Gill Myers from Newbury & Crookham Golf Club.
It was an incredibly tight match which went down to the last putt.
Congratulations to Pauline on a great win, with a match that was played in perfect conditions and spirit.
Many thanks to Maidenhead Golf Club for their generous hospitality in hosting the final for us.

2019 Final
The 2019 Final
The Ann Bryant Final was played at Mill Ride Golf Club on 25th September 2019.
Luckily the rain held off and Pam Thomason from Maidenhead played a beautiful game to win beating Alison Vessey from Goring & Streatley.
The match was followed by an enjoyable Afternoon Tea.
2018 Final
On Friday 21st September, the Ann Bryant final was played at Newbury & Crookham Golf Club on a sunny, blustery and wet day. Jane Weller and Kjersti Cannon, both of Caversham Heath GC were the 2018 finalists.
The match was tight with many of the holes being halved but Kjersti went into the lead and was +2 after 9. At the 15th Jane pulled the game back to all square. Jane then went on to win the 16th and 17th, thereby winning the match 2/1 and retaining the trophy.
The match was followed by a delicious afternoon tea and presentation of trophies.
2017 Final
On Saturday, 21st October 2017, a blustery day at Mill Ride due to Storm Brian, Lucie Robinson (Bearwood Lakes) and Jane Weller (Caversham Heath) battled their way through a hard fought match which went down to the 19th before Jane Weller was the victor.
