Another great result from the 2nd team today. Oxfordshire came with a strong team to Castle Royle so we were in for some tough matches.
We won the foursomes in the morning 2-1 .
Sonya Singh from Castle Royle kindly stepped in at the last minute for Vicky Preitzel and her and Yvonne Craven wont their match along with Emily Shaw and Bella Kent. Jane Brackenbury and Chloe W came up against Maggie Findlay and Fraya Coughlton who sank and few monster putts to win their match on 17.
Emily Shaw led the first match out in the singles with a convincing win . Chloe Walkington played beautifully and nearly had a hole in one on the 9th! Bella Kent chipped in on 16 to win her match along with Jane Brackenbury. We were well looked after by Castle Royle and we can now look forward to playing in the 2nd Team finals at the Vale Golf Club in Worcester on Thursday 26th of August as winners of our division.
